Description

On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Per saltire Gules and Sable, an eagle rising perched upon a sword fesswise point to dexter, all Argent (Silver). Attached below the shield, a tri-partite Black scroll doubled Red inscribed with "DUTY AND RESPECT" in Silver.


Symbolism

Red and black are the school colors. The eagle is the school's mascot, named Warren G. after the 29th President of the United States who lived in Marion, Ohio early in his life. The eagle is taking flight, alluding to the student's life and career beginning to ascend toward greatness. The sword the eagle is perched upon is emblematic of the school's JROTC program.
