Description

On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 1/4 inch (3.18 cm) in heightblazoned as follows: Per pale Argent and Gules, a mullet Argent (Silver), throughout, charged with a silhouetteof a bucking bronco of the second. Attached below the shield,a Silver scroll inscribed with "OHS BRONCHOS",in Red.


Symbolism

Red and white are the schoolcolors. The star alludes to Texas,enlightenment and achievement. The broncho (pronounced bronco) is the school's mascot. This unique spelling of "Broncho" has resultedin Odessa High School beingthe only high school in Texas with this particular mascot
