Shield. On a buff vertical oval edged with a silver narrow doubled dovetailed band, a blue demi- trident, centered and throughout, detailed dark blue, transfixing by an orange triangular frame, above a gray Mako shark swimming around the middle tine to the right; below the trident, a black scroll, doubled golden yellow, inscribed "AD FINEM" in white; all enclosed by a black border edged on the outside with a gold roped border and inscribed "USCG PORT SECURITY UNIT" above and "307" below, all white.
Shield. The buff background symbolizes PSU 307's ability to operate ashore and afloat. The trident is emblematic of maritime authority and defense operations. The golden orange triangle denotes the Coast Guard's three core values of Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty as well as the Coast Guard Reserve's values of Preparedness, Professionalism, and Patriotism. The Mako shark is the mascot of PSU 307--fast, agile and with the hunter instinct and aggression required to complete PSU 307's unique missions. The warm red and blue stripes upon the shark signify the unit is a member of the United States Coast Guard.
Motto. The motto, "AD FINEM," translates to "TO THE END," indicating that members of PSU 307 are loyal, honorable and will go to the ends of the earth for their mission, following it through to the end, giving it their all.
Seal. The coat of arms as blazoned in full color on a buff oval, edged a silver narrow doubled dovetailed band, enclosed by a black designation band edged on the outside with a gold roped border and inscribed "USCG PORT SECURITY UNIT" above and "307" below, all white.
