Description/Blazon
On a blue vertical rectangle 3 inches (8.89 cm) in height overall arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border the yellow head of a cougar between "EDINBURG NORTH" inscribed above and "HIGH SCHOOL" inscribed below in yellow letters.

Symbolism
Blue and gold are the school colors. The cougar is the school mascot.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 2 November 1995.
