Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

A shield shaped embroidered item, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Red border, blazoned as follows: Argent, a devil's face affronté of the first, detailed Gules.  Attached above the shield a White scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Red border and inscribed "LAWRENCE CO" in Red letters. The overall dimensions are 2-1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width by 3-1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height.


Symbolism
Red and white are the school colors. Red is for courage and white symbolizes honor. The "Red Devil" is the school's mascot.

Background: The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 1 May 1995. It was amended to update the manufacturing drawings on 7 March 2015. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-389)

Shoulder Loop Insignia

Description

A gold colored metal and epoxied irregular shaped horizontal device,  1-1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in width overall displaying a red devil's head in 3/4 position, red clawed hands on either side of his head, surmounting a horizontal dovetailed scroll, inscribed "RED" above and "DEVILS" below in red letters.


Symbolism
"Red Devil" is the school's mascot.
