A disc shaped embroidered item, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, with a diagonally divided background, yellow at top, red to right orange at bottom and blue to left, displaying two diagonally crossed black arrows, points upward, surmounting in the center by an cropped Indian head with feather headdress, in Profile to right all black, between the inscription "LOGAN" at top and "COUNTY" at bottom in black letters. The overall diameter is 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm)

The Logan County school colors are red, blue, gold and orange. The Indian head symbolizes the important role of the Indian in the heritage and settlement of Logan County.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 28 May 1987, it is currently being amended to update the manufacturing drawings on 4 October 2016. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-48)

A silver colored metal and enamel shield shaped device, 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows: Gules, a Native American head couped Sable to sinister, war bonnet Argent (Silver) detailed of the second surmounting two arrows in saltire of the last. Attached below the shield, a Silver scroll inscribed "LOGAN COUNTY" in black letters. 

The importance of Native Americans in the heritage and settlement of Logan County is reflected by the use of the arrows and Indian brave's head which suggest the integrity, leadership and honor gained through the JROTC program. Red symbolizes the bloodshed in defense of freedom.

The shoulder loop Insignia was originally authorized on 3 June 1990, it is currently being amended to update the manufacturing drawings on 4 October 2016.
