A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height consisting of a shield blazoned: Per chevron, Gules and paly of six pieces, Or and Sable, a bend counterchanged, in chief a garland of the second, the dexter half laurel, the sinister oak, within a bordure dovetailed chequey of the first and Argent.
The insignia is that of the parent organization, the 110th Field Artillery Regiment, with the addition of the border of scarlet and white (silver) of the Engineers.
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 19 August 1942. It was rescinded/cancelled effective 27 July 1960.
