A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Argent, a saltire Gules between two mullets fesswise Vert, a sword palewise Or with a grip of the third. Attached to the bottom of the shield, following its contours is a stylized "V" Green scroll inscribed "ENFORCERS" and "OF FREEDOM" in Gold letters.

Green and yellow are the colors associated with the Military Police Corps. The motto "Enforcers of Freedom" emphasizes the desire of the Military Police Soldiers to compel observance of or obedience to freedom wherever it takes them. The saltire, drawn from the Cross of St. Andrew, is scarlet on a white field which represents purity and sacrifice. The two stars represent the Military Police Corps missions to uphold the law and keep order. The sword represents the military preparedness of the War Fighter
