An arched shield blazoned: Argent, a saltire Gules between four mullets Sable, all within a diminished 1/8 inch (.32 cm) bordure of the last. Attached above the shield is a White arched scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border and inscribed "ALBERTVILLE" in Scarlet letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.
Red and black are the school's colors. The red saltire alludes to the state flag and denotes the school's location. The four stars represent scholarship, service, spirit, and success, toward which the cadets strive.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 5 January 1994.
