Description/Blazon
A white shield with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, the overall dimensions 2 inches (5.08 cm) in width and 4 inches (10.16 cm) in height bearing a red eagle in flight. Attached above the shield, a red scroll inscribed "CHS" in white letters. Attached below the shield, following the configuration of the shield in base, a red scroll inscribed "EAGLES" in white letters.

Symbolism
Red and white are the school colors. The eagle alludes to the school nickname "War Eagles".

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 25 July 1989.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height composed of a shield blazoned: "Gules, an eagle's head and a lamp of knowledge enflamed Argent, dimidiated and counterchanged on the fess line". Attached below the shield a Red scroll inscribed "EAGLES" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Red and white are the school colors. The eagle is the school mascot and describes spirit and determination. The lamp symbolizes knowledge and achievement. The shield signifies the school and community that the cadets represent.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 10 September 2003.
