Red, white and blue reflect the national colors and signify pride and patriotism. The sword is indicative of leadership. The stars represent the three county schools participating in the ROTC program and are positioned relative to their geographic location within the county; each school's primary color is reflected by the corresponding star.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 10 January 1990 for all Pike County High Schools.
