Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a khaki color disc within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) old gold border, the overall dimensions 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter, a five pointed black star edged with a old gold border 3/32 inch (.24 cm) in width. On the star the silhouette of the Alamo in old gold, with black details.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 16 June 1967.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a black five-pointed star on which is a gold color representation of the Alamo detailed black.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 29 January 1976.
