On a cream vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border, in chief a silhouette of the Wright Brothers with airplane gold, in base a sword at an angle point upward green, in front of the sword a stylized lamp base bronze, handles, spout, details, and flames all gold. Attached above and below the rectangle, are cream scrolls edged with 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green borders inscribed "WRIGHT STATE" above and "UNIVERSITY" below in green letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.
Green and gold are the official colors of the Wright State University. The sword represents power and the Reserve Officers' Training Corps' mission of training selected Wright State University students to become US Army Officers. The lamp represents knowledge. The Wrights Brothers with airplane is the current symbolism used by the University.
