Description/Blazon
A light blue vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) blue border, a white stripe diagonally from upper left to lower right, surmounted by a blue comet with white contrail outlined blue. Attached above the rectangle a white scroll with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border inscribed "HALIFAX COUNTY" in blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height. Attached below the rectangle a white scroll with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border inscribed ‘BLUE COMETS" in blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height. Overall dimension are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 1/4 inches
(8.36 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The school colors are blue and white. The school's emblem is a blue comet.

Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows: Celeste, a sword palewise Or, point up, surmounting a book Argent. Attached above the shield a Dark Blue scroll inscribed "LEARNING TO LEAD" in Gold letters.

Symbolism
Blue and white are the school colors. The sword, point up, represents leadership. The open book symbolizes education.
