On a purple vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border a stylized wildcat, couped at the shoulders of the field, detailed and fimbriated black, eyed and armed silver gray. Attached above the rectangle a purple scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "WESLACO EAST" in silver gray letters. Attached below the rectangle a purple scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "WILDCATS" in silver gray letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.
Purple and black are the school colors. The wildcat is the school's mascot which is the symbol of vigilance and courage. The silver eye and teeth allude to the ferocity of the animal and suggest the protection of kindred amongst the Wildcat Battalion.
