Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
An oval shaped device edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) orange border, the overall dimension are 3 3/8 inches (8.57 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width, consisting of a white sky with orange representation of the sun above a dark blue open book delineated white, in base a stylized pattern of water, dark blue detailed white; around the top of the oval the inscription "UNIVERSITAS BUCNELLENSIS" in dark blue letters, 1/4 inch (.64 cm) in height.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 2 April 1982.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A gold color metal and enamel achievement, consisting of shield, crest with mantling and scroll with designation of school, 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height overall, emblazoned as follows: SHIELD: Argent, a bordure Azure, overall on a canton of the first a mullet Or. CREST: On a helmet Or with mantling Azure, issuing from a cloud formation palewise Argent, a hand of the first holding a ball of the third.
The shoulder loop insignia was 30 January 1968.
