Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a white triangular-shaped device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in width at its base overall, a red letter "A" within a white 1/8 inch (.32 cm) border, surmounted by a yellow torch enflamed, overall blue disc fimbriated white bearing three white stars.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 19 January 1972. It was amended to add subdued colors and metric measurements and update the description and symbolism on 19 August 1991. (TIOH Drawing Number A- 10S-76)
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield from the device between a horizontal blue scroll above and an arced blue scroll below bearing the designation of the University.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 19 January 1972.
