Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
A circular insignia with an 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gold border, the overall diameter 3 inches (7.62 cm) on a black inner disc edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) gold border, a globe with gold rim and grid lines surmounted by a gold torch delineated black; on a black encircling band the inscription "BRYANT" above and "COLLEGE" below in gold letters, 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Symbolism
Black and gold are the colors of the College. The globe and the torch are taken from the college's seal. The globe depicts the worldwide implications of education for business in twentieth century America. The torch alludes to liberty, the spirit of free inquiry, academic freedom and learning.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 8 February 1983. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10S-211)

Shoulder Loop Insignia

Description
A gold metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches in height overall consisting of a gold shield on which is a black enamel archway surmounted by a gold torch enflamed, overall a gold oval globe with black enamel rim and grid lines; the globe encompassed by two gold arced quills delineated in black enamel. Attached below the shield a horizontal gold scroll inscribed "BRYANT COLLEGE" in black enamel letters.

Symbolism
The shield is taken from the seal of the college.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 8 February 1983.
