Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On an orange disc with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border 3 inches ( 7.62 cm) in diameter overall, a gray charging elephant affronté detailed black with an orange mouth, between the inscription "CAL. STATE U." above and "FULLERTON" below in blue letters 5/16 (.79 cm) in height.

Symbolism
Orange and blue are the school colors and the elephant represents the school's mascot, a Titan.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 25 August 1986.

Description
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inch (2.86 cm) in height overall all consisting of a shield quartered orange and light blue bearing a silver disc charged with a stylized light blue letter "F." attached below the shield a silver scroll inscribed "FORTI NIHIL DIFFICILE" in light blue letters.

Symbolism
The school colors are blue and orange and the blue "F" represents the school name- Fullerton.  The motto "FORTI NIHIL DIFFICILE" is Latin meaning "TO THE BRAVE NOTHING IS DIFFICULT.
