An oval embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, the overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62cm) in height and 3 1/2 inches (8.89cm) in width, consisting of an inner blue horizontal oval disc edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) narrow black border, displaying a yellow Leopard's head with blue and white details, its nose black and tongue red facing the viewer, encircled by a white designation band inscribed "BANKS COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL" at top and "LEOPARDS" at bottom all in blue letters.
White, blue and black are the school colors. Blue is symbolic of the patriotism and courage of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while White signifies truth and to succeed in all endeavors, Black represents determination and might. The Leopard is the school's mascot and reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadet's military training.
