On a blue shield 2 inches (5.08 cm) by 3 inches (7.62 cm) overall convex at the top and within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, a sword point down with yellow hilt and white blade on top of two yellow inverted chevrons.
The two chevrons, simulating a belt supporting the sword, indicate the numerical designation of the organization and likewise allude to the unit's basic mission to provide support to combat troops.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally approved for the 2d Support Brigade on 15 February 1966. It was redesignated effective 15 January 1973, for the 2d Support Command. (TIOH Dwg. No. A-1-411)
