Distinctive Unit Insignia

Description
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows:  Quarterly Gris (Steel Gray) and Argent, an annulet Sable bearing twelve mullets Or, overall a polestar surmounted by a roundel Celeste charged with a mullet of the fourth, the polestar and roundel entoured by three annulets, two in saltire and one fesswise, of the fourth.  Attached below a Black scroll inscribed OMNES IRE in Gold.

Symbolism
The pale blue disc represents the globe itself and the worldwide reach of the organization through global networks.  The gold compass rose exemplifies exploration of new technologies and how the Soldiers in Brigade are pioneers in cyber defense.  The interlocking gold rings symbolize global communication and networking, represented as satellite orbits.  The 13 stars signify the 13 original teams in the organization.  The black band around the globe and compass symbolizes the past, present, and future, and the white and gray shield allude to the organizations role as network defenders.  The motto translates to To Go Anywhere.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 2 November 2015.
