Encompassing the pentagon, a wreath of laurel, surmounted by a polestar at the top, overall a delta encircled diagonally by an orbit ring; all silver.  The badge is 2-1/8 inches (5.4 cm) in height for the regular badge and 1-19/32 inches (4.05 cm) in height for the miniature. The lapel button is 13/16” in height by 3/4” in width.

The badge reflects the distinguishing elements used in the Space Force seal—delta, globe, and orbital path on a black celestial field. The laurel wreath embraces the characteristics of integrity, dedication, and honorable service while assigned to the headquarters staff. The pentagon shape highlights the Space Force as the fifth military service within the Department of Defense.
