Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent, a sword palewise Or superimposed by a globe Azure, gridlined of the second, charged with a silhouette of the United States of America Sable, fimbriated of the second, charged with an escutcheon bearing a mullet of five all Yellow, wreathed in base by a garland of oak leaves Vert and acorns of the second. Attached below the shield a Black scroll inscribed "CONTRACTING FOR SOLDIERS" in Gold letters.

Symbolism
Green and gold are the colors traditionally associated with the Army. The gold sword represents the pinnacle of knowledge and leadership in contracting excellence. The green wreath symbolizes the sacrifices of the soldiers supported by the Command. The globe implies that the Command is a critical part of the worldwide contacting effort. The shield denotes the organization's ability to arm the battlefield commander with the additional tools needed to support and protect the forces. The star recognizes the ability to provide contracting support to the five services.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 15 June 2009.
