Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall, consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent, a pair of wings conjoined tips inverted Azure surmounted by a sword Gules, overall a lozenge with horizontal axis Argent bearing a demi-sun in splendor issuing from base Or, encircled at bottom and sides by a Red scroll inscribed "ALL AMERICAN PAYMASTERS" in Silver.

Symbolism
Silver/silver gray and golden yellow are the colors traditionally associated with the Finance Corps. Gold signifies excellence; red, white and blue, referring to the Battalion's heritage and affiliation, personifies "All American." The wings are symbolic of the unit's airborne mission. The sword denotes military preparedness. The lozenge is adapted from the Finance Corps insignia of branch. The demi-sun in splendor signifies tropical Panama and the unit's baptism of fire.

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 5 March 1993.
