Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of two crossed gold martel-de-fers, points outwards, between and above four gold spears on a crimson background, all above a gold scroll bearing the motto "THE RELIABLE ONE" in black letters.

Symbolism
Crimson is the color used for Ordnance. The martel-de-fers, an ancient tool and weapon combination, symbolizes the basic mission of the Battalion. The four spearheads allude to the four military services to which the unit provides support.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 192d Maintenance Battalion on 20 July 1967. It was redesignated for the 192d Ordnance Battalion with the description and symbolism updated on 1 February 2006. The insignia was amended to change the symbolism on 23 February 2006.

Per fess arched reversed Or and Gules (Crimson), two martel-de-fers in saltire of the first, points outwards fimbriated of the second, issuant from base four spears in fess palewise of the first, points up, two in middle base point couped.

Crest

From a wreath Or and Gules (Crimson), within a circle of chain of the first a firebomb Sable fimbriated of the first enflamed Proper, charged with a Taeguk fimbriated Or.

Symbolism

Shield

Crimson is the color used for Ordnance. The arched fess denotes protection. The martel-de-fers, an ancient tool and weapon combination, symbolizes the basic mission of the Battalion. The four spearheads allude to the four military services to which the unit provides support.

Crest

The chain alludes to the unit's service in Ryukyus during World War II. Ryukyus is an island chain, stretching southwestward in the East China Sea. The firebomb suggests the branch assignment. The Taeguk symbolizes campaigns in Korea. The number of tongues of the flames alludes to the decorations awarded to the unit for service in Korea.

Background
The coat of arms was approved for the 192d Ordnance Battalion on 23 February 2006.
