Shield
Dark blue and scarlet are the colors used by organizations associated with The Adjutant General's Corps. The spear and fixed bayonet are adapted from the Career Counselor Identification Badge and represent the military mission. The torch signifies leadership and enlightenment and is adapted from the U.S. Army Recruiter Identification Badge. The eagle, which appears on both identification badges, is our national symbol and personifies the principles of freedom upon which our country was founded and which the U.S. Army is sworn to defend. The border represents unit and integrity.
