Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a quatrefoil bendwise divided red and black surmounted by a silver wyvern as depicted on the Arms of Draguignan, France. Above and below the upper and lower lobes of the quatrefoil a silver scroll inscribed "WARRIOR SPIRIT" above and "WARRIOR SUPPORT" below in black letters.

Symbolism
Buff is a color traditionally associated with Support organizations. The wyvern stands for the unit's participation in the World War II assault landing in Southern France called "Operation Dragoon." It is taken from the arms of Draguignan, the capital of the Department of Var, where the landing took place. Black and red refer to the Rhineland campaign in which the organization also participated. The four foils allude to the unit's function of support.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 530th Supply and Service Battalion on 28 July 1966. It was revised to include metric measurements and revise the symbolism on 16 February 1993. It was amended to change the motto and correct the symbolism on 7 April 1995. The insignia was redesignated effective 16 October 2006, for the 530th Support Battalion with symbolism updated.

From a wreath Argent and Buff, a buckle Gules interlaced with two scimitars in saltire, blades Argent (Silver Gray) and handgrips Gules, points up.
