Description/Blazon
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per chevron nebuly Azure and Or, issuant from base a wing elevated Sable. Attached below the shield is a red scroll inscribed "TO MEND BROKEN WINGS" in gold.

Symbolism
Buff is the primary color traditionally used by Support organizations. Blue represents the sky and black denotes solidity and consistency. The chevron symbolizes strength and support and its nebuly is derived from clouds recalling the sky and aviation. The two sections of the shield are interlocked to show teamwork and cooperation. The wing, upright and ready, echoes the Battalion's motto, goals and mission for total military preparedness.
