Shield
Green and yellow are the colors used for the Military Police Corps. The hand represents the power and strength of the Battalion in uprooting evil, symbolized by the wyvern.
Crest
The four arrowheads commemorate the assault landings of the organization in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations during World War II, while the medieval tower is indicative of the unit's service in Europe. The three horizontal red bars from the National Flag of South Vietnam on a triangle alluding to the mountainous terrain of the second and third tactical zones of South Vietnam, refer to service in that country, for which it was awarded six decorations.
The coat of arms was approved on 30 March 1942. It was amended to add a crest on 16 October 1975.
