Distinctive Unit Insignia
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure, two swords crossed Argent hilt to base Gules, above a globe of the second gridlined Sable; on a chief of the last and between two Silver mullets a lightning bolt palewise Or terminating upon the center of the globe. Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Silver scroll inscribed "VICTORY THRU VIGILANCE" in Blue letters.

The bolt of lightning alludes to the unit's technology and to the swift and accurate use of information to thwart enemy plans.
