Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Gray border blazoned as follows: Purpure, between a diminutive pall reversed Argent (Silver Gray) in dexter chief an open book superimposed in base by a quill pen bend sinister, point downward Argent, in sinister chief two paw prints in bend of the second, detailed of the third, in base a wildcats face of the third, garnished Sable.  Attached above the shield, a Purple scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) a Gray border inscribed HAMMOND in White letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 7/8 inches (7.30 m) in width.

Symbolism
 Purple, white and gray are the school colors.  Purple is signifies royalty, humility and sacrifice of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while Gray paw prints suggest truth and success in all endeavors. The white book of knowledge overlaid with the quill pen symbolizes truth and purity of new ideas and goals.  The Wildcat is the schools mascot and reflects the pride honor and loyalty of the cadets military training.

Description
 A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Purpure, in chief issuing a sun in splendor within an arc of seven (7) mullets Argent (Silver) in base between two (2) paw prints of the second, a wildcats face of the second garnished Sable.  Attached above the shield, a Purple scroll inscribed HAMMOND in Silver letters.  Attached below the shield, a Purple scroll inscribed WILDCATS in Silver letters.

Symbolism
Purple, white and gray are the school colors. Purple signifies royalty, humility and sacrifice of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while silver paw prints suggest truth and success in all endeavors.  The silver sunburst, terminating at the ends with seven stars represents the Army Values; loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.  The Wildcat is the schools mascot and reflects the pride honor and loyalty of the cadets military training.
