Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a white shield arched, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border a scarlet bend surmounted by a Native American Indian Warrior head proper, detailed black, in profile wearing a white, black and scarlet war bonnet. Attached below the shield a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed WARRIORS in black letters.
The school colors are black, red and white. The American Indian Warrior is the schools mascot. The red bend represents dedication to duty as inspired by the cadets in the ROTC program.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 26 August 1988 and currently amended to update the manufacturing drawing on 18 November 2014. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-82)
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height consisting of a silver trapezoid short side up, bearing two white lightning flash arrows issuing from base bendwise and bendwise sinister surmounted by a red arrowhead bearing a silver profile of a Native American head in headdress detailed black. Attached above the device, a red scroll inscribed WARRIOR in silver letters. Attached below the device, a black scroll inscribed BATTALION in silver letters.
Red, white and black are the school colors. The Native American warrior is the schools mascot. The arrowhead denotes the cadets military training and the lightning flash arrows suggest illumination through education.
