Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
A circular embroidered item 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall consisting of an inner blue disc displaying a yellow Greek Alpha symbol surmounted by a scarlet and white open book, bearing a yellow Lamp of Knowledge. Around the disc a white designation band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) scarlet border, inscribed LAKE VIEW at the top and HIGH SCHOOL at the bottom in scarlet letters 5/16 (.79 cm) in height.
Red and white are the school colors. The lamp and the book of knowledge symbolize education.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 17 April 1975 and currently amended to update the manufacturing drawing on 18 December 2014. (Drawing Number A-10J-1107)
