Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On a light blue vertical rectangle embroidered item, arched convexly at top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border, displaying at top a white stylized storm clouds, with gray details, darker gray image in the shape of a C, surmounted by a diagonally placed white lightning bolt, outlined gray, from upper right to lower left. Attached above the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) gray border and inscribed STORM in light blue. Attached below the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border, inscribed BATTALION in light blue. The overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height by 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Electric blue, silver and white are the school colors. Blue represents loyalty, a trait the cadets encompass for their nation, as well as for each other. Silver denotes students humility in their academic and athletic endeavors.  White symbolizes genuineness in their honorable actions.  The storm clouds and lightning bolt illustrate the schools symbolic mascot The Storm, a force of nature to be reckoned with.

Description
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall, consisting of a light blue disc, below a gray storm cloud formations coming from the top, the Sandia mountain range in buff, overall a vertical silver (white) lightning bolt point to base.  Encircling the disc, a bi-partite medium blue scroll inscribed at top CLEVELAND HIGH SCHOOL and at bottom STORM STRONG in Silver.

Symbolism
Electric blue, silver and white are the school colors.  Blue represents loyalty, a trait the cadets have for their nation as well as for each other.  Silver denotes the cadets pride in their academic and athletic endeavors.  White conveys truth, a characteristic the students exhibit in their honorable actions. The lightning bolt alludes to the schools symbolic figure The Storm, a force of nature to be reckoned with.  Buff signifies the Sandia mountain range, adapted from the city seal of Rio Rancho, NM, where the school is located.
