Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On a gray circular-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, in front of a red sun in splendor bearing three (3) white stars, a stylized red hawk, facing the viewer, wings expanded, with black details, white eyes, claws and beak, gray shading, the hawk perched upon a unfurled white scroll and from behind the hawk wings at top an arched white scroll inscribed STEWARTS CREEK in black letters and at  based a rolled white scroll inscribed RED HAWKS in red letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter.

Symbolism
Red, grey and black are the school colors. Red signifies strength and truth in the endeavors of the cadets to become future leaders in their school and communities.  Silver gray symbolizes purity and discretion to succeed in all their accomplishments.  The red sun rising behind the hawk symbolizes a new day for ideas and achievements. The three stars allude to the flag of the State of Tennessee.  Black represents determination and might.  The hawk is the schools mascot which reflects the pride, honor and loyalty to the cadets military training.

Description
On a Silver color metal and enameled device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned. Per pale Gules and Argent (Dark gray), in dexter a laurel wreath Argent (Silver) and in sinister a hand issuant from sinister grasping a torch inflamed passing to a hand open palm issuant from dexter of the third; on a chief Sable, a Trojan in helm of the third. Resting on the shield, a hawk affront wings displayed of the first. Attached at the base and to each side of the shield a tri-parted Black scroll inscribed SCHOLAR, ATHLETE and LEADER in Silver.

Symbolism
Red, grey and black are the school colors.  The red hawk is the schools mascot.  Red signifies strength and truth in the endeavors of the cadets to become future leaders in their school and communities. The silver wreath conveys the students esprit de corps. The Greek Warrior helmet represents leadership and scholastic achievement, defining talents of Stewarts Creek High School cadets.  The torch symbolizes knowledge and the hand indicates the passing of the academic from one generation to the next.
