Shoulder Loop Insignia

Description
A Silver color metal and enamel shield shaped device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Quarterly, Azure (Teal) and Sable, in the first quarter, upon a torch handle an open book; in the second quarter, issuing from a grid lined sphere in dexter chief, a sun in splendor, the sphere superimposed by a dexter and sinister hand clasped in bendsinister; in the third quarter five annulets interlaced and in the fourth, a paint brush bendsinisterwise, bristles upward, surmounted by a flowing music bar bearing three musical notes, all Argent (Silver). Surmounting the top of the shield a Jaguars head couped at shoulders reguardant of the last. Attached below the shield a Black scroll inscribed CORAL GLADES in Silver. 

Symbolism
Black and teal blue are the school colors. The Jaguar is the schools mascot which represents the spirit, responsibility and determination of the students to achieve excellence in academics, extracurricular activities and life. The torch and open book signifies knowledge and academic excellence. The globe, sun in splendor and clasping hands symbolize partnership and dedication to the community. The five interlocked rings characterizes athletic excellence. The flowing musical bar and notes reflect accomplishments in the musical arts.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 15 May 2015.
