Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
A White circular shaped embroidered item, bearing a gray stylized Javelinas head (peccary) in profile, white teeth, tusk and eye, detailed and outlined dark blue; all encircled by a dark blue designation band, edged with a 1/8 (.32 cm) silver gray border and inscribed at the top SOUTHWEST and at bottom JAVELINAS in white.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in diameter.

Symbolism
Navy blue, silver gray and white are the schools colors. The Javelina (peccary), a medium-sized animal, with a strong resemblance to a pig is the schools mascot.  Navy blue signifies the loyalty of the cadets, exemplifying their candor as leaders in the school and the community.  White refers to clarity of the students to pursue any future endeavor.  Silver denotes foresight to flourish in all capabilities.

Description
A Silver color metal and epoxy shield shape device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) height blazoned as follows; Azure (Dark Blue), between a pall fillet reversed Argent (Silver), in dexter two conjoined theatre masks, one facing to dexter, one to sinister, surmounting the base of a lyre; in sinister a wing foot of Hermes of the second, in base superimposed on a unfurled scroll, a scholars cap Argent.  Attached below the shield a Dark blue scroll inscribed JAVELINAS in Silver letters.
