Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On a shield shaped embroidered items edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Yellow border, the overall dimensions 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width, blazoned as follows: Azure a pall reversed Or, charged with a bezant bearing a hurt within a circle of six smaller hurts between in dexter a winged foot; in sinister an unfurled scroll bendwise surmounted by a scholars cap in base a Viking helm, all Argent, detailed of the first.  Attached above the shield a Blue scroll inscribed WAREHAM in White letters. 

Symbolism
Blue, white and gold are the school colors.  The winged foot represents the scholastic endeavor and perseverance required of each cadet.  The cap and diploma symbolize academic excellence, the goal of every student.  The Viking helmet embodies the adventurer and explorer in every cadet of the Wareham Battalion.  The bullnose represents the battalion as a whole, each cadet helping one another protect and achieve their goals.
