Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

 On a shield shaped embroidered item 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 11/32 inches (5.99 cm) in width blazoned as follows: Per bend sinister Vert and Sable, a demi-horse erased forcene Or, detailed and edged of the second, eyed Argent clutching a lightning flash bend sinisterwise of the last.

Symbolism
Black, green, yellow and white are the school colors. A charging horse clutching a lightning bolt is the schools mascot. The horse represents the spirit of adventure and pursuit of knowledge while the lightning bolt symbolizes swiftness and the spark of inspiration.

Description

On a shield shaped Gold metal and epoxied device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Vert, a horseshoe, points upward, Sable detailed Or surmounted by a lightning flash palewise of the third, all within a diminished bordure of the last. Attached below the shield a Black scroll with the inscription TAKE CHARGE in Gold.

Symbolism
Black, dark green and yellow are the school colors. The horseshoe alludes to the schools mascot, a charging horse. The lightning flash symbolizes precision, swiftness and a powerful charge.
