On a blue vertical rectangle arched convexly at the top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border, a white wolverines head in 3/4 position with dark blue details, gray eyes, nose, inside mouth and tongue and white teeth. Attached above the rectangle, a dark blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border, inscribed VASHON in white letters. Attached below the rectangle, a dark blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border, inscribed WOLVERINES in white letters. Overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inch (8.89 cm) in height and 2 9/16 inches (6.51 cm) in width.
Blue and white are the school colors. The wolverine is the schools mascot, depicting ferocity and strength. The wolverine also symbolizes leadership and accomplishment, as students are motivated to develop self-esteem, teamwork and self-discipline through the JROTC program and become better citizens to the community.
