Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a blue disc shaped embroidered item, a lion yellow between two arced inscriptions, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border inscribed "LINCOLN" at top and PARK at bottom in yellow letters.  The overall diameter is 3 inches (7.62 cm).


Symbolism

Yellow and blue are the school colors.  The blue signifies loyalty, devotion and fidelity to the spirit of the schools achievement of friendship, justice and truth.  The yellow denotes loyalty, honor and radiating energy, peace and prosperity.  The lion represents noble courage and great strength of the schools zeal to achieve. 


Background

The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 29 September 1980, currently amended to update the manufacturing drawings on 4 August 2016. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-1142)
