Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a green vertical rectangular shape embroidered item arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) orange border, a front facing couped stylized orange tigers head detailed white and black. Attached above the rectangle, a green scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (0.32 cm) orange border inscribed DUNBAR in orange letters. Attached below the rectangle, a green scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (. 32 cm) orange border inscribed TIGERS in orange letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.


Symbolism

The tiger is the schools mascot, symbolic of power, energy, passion, speed and strength that is reflected in the cadets CAN DO attitude, dedication to duty, and service to community and to the school.

Description

On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Tenn pily bendy Sable, all within a diminished bordure Argent (Silver Gray). Attached below the shield, a Green tripartite scroll inscribed SAPIENTIA ET FORTITUDO in Silver letters.


Symbolism

The pily bendy charges resemble that of tiger stripes, alluding to the schools mascot. The tiger is symbolic of power, energy, passion, speed and strength, which is reflective of the cadets CAN DO attitude, dedication to duty, service to community and to the school. The motto SAPIENTIA ET FORTITUDO means Wisdom and Strength.
