A silver color circular metal and epoxy device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall, consisting of a black background displaying two conjoined silver chevrons all within an orange cog wheel of twelve, overall and centered upon the cogwheel, a silver torch, with red flames. Attached below the device a black scroll inscribed EXCELLENCE THROUGH TRAINING in silver.

Orange and black are the school colors. Orange signifies ambition, a trait demonstrated by the cadets in achieving personal objectives and overcoming adversity. Black symbolizes the cadets determination to achieve their individual and team goals. The cog wheel signifies the vocational technology offered by the school. The twelve cogs denote the schools most senior program levels of education. The torch of knowledge personifies the pursuit of academic excellence. The conjoined chevrons allude to the letter M in the schools name. The schools motto is Excellence Through Training.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 1 December 2016.
