Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

 On a blue vertical rectangular embroidered item arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 (0.32 cm) red border, a white stylized wild cats head facing front detailed and outlined in red. Attached above the rectangle, a blue scroll edged with a 1/8 (0.32 cm) red border inscribed ESTERO in white. Attached below the rectangle, a blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border inscribed WILDCATS in white. Overall dimensions are 3 1/2 (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 (6.86 cm) width.


Symbolism

The wildcat is the schools mascot; embodying the fierce spirit and passion of the students and junior officers. Navy blue and white are the school colors.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized approved 2 February 2017.  (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-1154)

Description

A Silver colored metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Azure, a stylized wildcats head erased surmounting a demi trident fesswise tines to sinister all Argent (Silver Gray), all within a diminished bordure of the last. Attached below the shield, a Red scroll inscribed YOUR FUTURE BEGINS HERE in Silver.


Symbolism

Navy blue and white are the school colors. The horizontal trident resembles the shape of the letter E for Estero. Further, the trident signifies leadership through direction and authority.


Background

The shoulder loop Insignia was authorized on 2 February 2017.
