Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a Silver shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (0.32 cm) Maroon border, blazoned as follows: Argent (Silver Gray), a couped stylized Tomcats head affixed with a hat affronty Argent detailed and edged Murrey. Attached below a Silver scroll inscribed ASHLAND PAUL G. BLAZER in Maroon. Overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 3 1/4 (8.26 cm) in width.


Symbolism

Maroon and white are the school colors.  The tomcat is the schools mascot.

Description

On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Quarterly Argent and Murrey, a chevron conjoined with a bar couped counterchanged; all within a diminished bordure Argent (Silver Gray).


Symbolism

Maroon and white are the school colors. The quartered shield denotes the multifaceted areas of education and development of the school. The chevron conjoined with the bar couped resembles that of the letter A, alluding to the schools name of Ashland Paul G. Blazer. The motto, WE CAN, describes the schools attitude and goal oriented mission.
