Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a white embroidered disc, displaying a stylized wave surmounted by a shark silhouette encircled, all dark blue, between a circular inscription OASIS HIGH SCHOOL above and SHARKS below in dark blue. All within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) dark blue border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter.


Symbolism

Oasis High School is a City Charter School. The school colors are navy blue and white. Blue signifies the cadets loyalty to their fellow students, school and country. White reflects their endeavors for academic and athletic precision. The shark is the schools mascot, which represents instinctiveness, strength and focus. The circular wave and shark allude to the letter O, in Oasis.

Description

On a silver color metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Per bend Azure and Argent, a shark naiant embowed to sinister Argent (Silver Gray). Attached below the shield, a Blue tripartite scroll inscribed OASIS, 212F, SHARKS in Silver.


Symbolism

Oasis High School is a City Charter School. The school colors are navy blue and white. The shark is the schools mascot, which represents instinctiveness, strength and motivation. The 212F degrees is a reference to the boiling point of water, alluding to the schools being at their highest academic and military goals.
