On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, blazoned as follows: Azure, an annulet of the first edged Argent, superimposed by a cross bottony of the second, surmounted in the center with a shield Gules, bearing a torch palewise, surmounted by a rifle and sword in saltire, muzzle and blade upward, overall an open book, all Or, all below the inscription MARMION, in Scarlet, all within a Yellow border. Overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height by 2 1/4 inches (5.71cm) width.

The school colors are red, blue, white and gold.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 11 October 1950, it currently being updated to include manufacturing drawings and to add the ACU color versions on 8 August 2017 (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-1172).
