On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border, blazoned as follows: Or, a jaguar Murrey langued, eyed, armed and spotted Sable rampant. Attached below the item a gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border inscribed NEW ERA ACADEMY in maroon. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height by 3 3/8 inches (8.57 cm) in width.

Maroon and gold are the school colors. The jaguar is the schools mascot, it is an apex predator who is always alert, on guard, and prepared for anything.

The shoulder Sleeve insignia was approved on 8 January 2018.

On a shield shaped gold metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Per Pall inverted Murrey in first a closed book bearing a gavel Or, in second a torch enflamed passed between two demi hands of the second, in base the Baltimore skyline throughout Sable and sky Or. Attached below the shield, a tri-parted maroon scroll doubled black inscribed INTEGRITY SCHOLAR EXCELLENCE in Gold.       

The book and gavel indicate adherence to law, order, and justice. The torch is alight with the flame of knowledge and its passing between hands suggests tradition, partnership, and unity. The skyline of Baltimore pays tribute to the schools location. Maroon and Gold are the schools colors.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 8 January 2018.
