Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a disc embroidered item edged with a 1/8 (.32cm) yellow border, three diagonal stripes, white between blue and yellow, from top left to bottom right, inscribed in the center following the white diagonal stripe EJCH in blue. Overall dimensions are 3 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter.


Symbolism
The school colors are royal blue and gold. Blue signifies knowledge and truth, and gold alludes to achievement and success. The design shares a similar appearance for all shoulder sleeve insignias that fall under the Dallas Independent School District to unite and differentiate the schools from others.

Description

On a shield shaped gold metal and epoxied device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Azure, between two lightning bolts in chief Or and issuant from sinister a stylized demi-stallion courant Argent, detailed of the second, surmounted by another lightning bolt issuant from sinister to dexter base. Attached at the bottom of the shield a Blue scroll inscribed CHARGER BATTALION in Gold.


Symbolism

The school colors are royal blue and gold. The charger is the schools mascot, illustrated as a powerful horse. The lightning bolts further allude to the mascot and exemplify the horses ferocity to charge forward. The charger is a symbol of determination, leadership, and strength.
